Milky White Faceted Bottle

This bottle, crafted from black clay and finished with a traditional deombeong white slip, radiates a soft, milky sheen that evokes quiet elegance. Deombeong—a slip-coating technique used in Buncheong ware—involves immersing or generously coating the surface with white slip, lending the piece its luminous tone while allowing the dark clay to subtly emerge beneath. Inspired by the gakchigi faceting technique seen in refined Joseon porcelain, the bottle’s silhouette is both graceful and structured. The result is a piece that feels timeless yet elevated—an embodiment of understated luxury and modern-classical harmony.
