Donho Lee

Master Donho Lee has devoted his life to Korean lacquer since 1977. He founded Daejeong Studio in 1988 and was designated Gangwon Province Intangible Cultural Heritage No.17 in 2005 for saeng-chil (raw lacquer) craft. With expertise spanning restoration of Buddhist statues, temple furnishings, and major exhibitions, his work preserves tradition while bringing the timeless beauty of lacquer into the present.
